Portrait Auto Flow

A new tool for you to use. The portrait auto flow allows you to quickly create your class pages by flowing the staff and students photos onto a page.

When the page is created, you will have complete freedom to finish designing the class page.

You can easily create your CSV files from the file provided by your school photographer. Most school photographers are following the PMAI guidelines .

You can as well check your photo CD for potential errors HERE .

Open the PSPA file provided to you by the school photographer. Create separate files for each of the classes in your school by folowing the layout below:

Column A: Photo file name
Column B: Last name
ColumnC: First name
Column D: Teacher's name
Column E: Class grade

Save each file as a CSV file in the folder where all the portraits are.

Second Step
Download the Portrait Flow Macro

The macro as been created for Microsoft Publisher's users. We are working on other softwares and will update this page as we go.

Please email us with your requirement.

File 1 has student's names under the photos.

File 2 has student's name on the side of the page.

Third Step
Open the macro file you downloaded.

Select "enable macros" then either use "alt-F8" or go to "tools" ---> "Macro" ---> "Macros".

A window opens with "yearbook template" click on "run".

Select the class file you want to work on.

And Voila! Your portraits are featured on a blank page. Photos and student's name are now layout on the page. Go to "file" ---> "save as". We recommend you save each file by naming it by page number. It will be easier to get your book together later. You can s well download our book ladder.

Go to "edit" ---> "select all" then Go to "arrange" ---> "Group". By doing that you will lock all photos and texts on your page and will be able to move them around as you finalize your page design.

Add background, clip art, borders, color and more to customize your page. You can choose to copy all the add on and use "paste in place" to create all your other pages.
